So, you want to be an Aviation Maintenance Techniacian?

If you want to enter to an aeromechanical maintenance course you must meet a series of requirements before:

·you need the baccaulaurate degree
·You need a vocational course diploma at intermediate level and then pass a specific entrance exam.
·An acces test.
One of these three academic requirements would be necessary to be able to enter.

Other requirements:

·Be at least 18 years old.
·Have knowledge of English especially reading comprehension.
·Have the baccalaureate level of math and physics help.
·The most important thing to have a good attitude to learn.
·Have 100% availability to not miss any class
This course is usually interested in people who like the world of aviation or mechanics, but the most important thing is that they like to do manual jobs.


In the first year we have 8 modules and we study in general the different aspects that effect the aircraft:


Maths and physics(Module 1 and 2, 80 and 100 hours): We dont have classes on globalia but we have a book for study the general knowledge




Electricity(Module 3, 118 hours) : In this subject we study the differents types of electric motor AC/DC, transformers, batteries, Ohm's law, kirschoff's law's and electrical testers.

 

Electronics(Module 4, 44 hours): The objective of this subject is understand the functioning of the diodes, transistors, amplifiers, converters, logic gates.




Digital systems(Module 5, 337 hours): In this subject we see the different digital components and computers of the aircraft.

Maintenance Practices(Module 7): This is a global maintenance procedures of airplanes and the different types of tools.

Aerodynamics(Module 8): This module purpose is understand how atmosphere effects the plane, Bernoulli's law, wing surfaces and control surface.




Legislation(Module 10, 81 hours): In this module we learn the laws and the regulation that affect our module.

 

Engines(Module 15, 207 hours): We study the differents types of engines and their efficiency.

Propellers(Module 17, 72 hours): We learn how the propellers are made , their materials and the maintenance of the propellers.
